Tie and Bowtie Onesies

I can not tell you how in love I am with tie onesies. They make me smile just thinking about them. My next "try it" was the bowtie onesie. Can we say super stinkin' adorable?!

The bowtie pictured was literally cut out and applied, hence the umproportianate sides. ((Which I don't mind myself. Straight and even = boring in my silly head.))

Bowtie and Tie applique onesies
Single --- $10
Duo --- $18
Trio --- $27

As always, custom orders are welcome!
Have a specific color scheme in mind? Let me know!

Chef aprons and hats!

Or just one hat. Kylie's chef hat was not finished at the time, and I've had a hard time since getting her to take a picture with the set on. She loves the set, but I think I just keep catching her at the wrong time. ((That reads I try to coax her to take a picture just after she wakes up from nap because that's generally when I remember. Bad me.))

((Please ignore the goobery Colton hat. He has a specific way that he MUST wear the hat. Picky, picky!))

I was so excited to find super cute fabric for both of their sets. Not only did I find super cute fabrics for theirs, but I have another set of way awesome fabric waiting to be turned into an apron... The plan is to have enough apron sets made ((including mommy child sets)) to sell at a few of the local high school craft fairs next fall.

If you are interested in submitting an order before then, or you are not in the area, let me know! I am always happy to take custom orders!

Reintroduction...

So here is my second attempt, one year later, to get this blog up and off the ground. I have an honest fear of putting myself out there, the reason this blog was a failed attempt last year. That is one thing I am trying to overcome this year.

A quick reintroduction, I'm Kim a stay at home mom to two awesome kiddos. Colton is four years old and knows how to whistle. ((How he would introduce himself.)) Kylie is two, and if she were to introduce herself she would say she is three and a Pinkie Pie-ballerina-princess. ((Pinkie Pie, for those who don't know, is one of the new My Little Pony's. She is Kylie's F.A.V.O.R.I.T.E!)) My husband, Chris, is a musical and technical genius! No, really... When he sets his mind to solve a technical problem he always figures it out! Like I said... Genius! Currently his interest is archery. ((He was at a men's retreat for church last weekend and has not stopped talking about archery since!)) Myself, I'm a crafter wanna-be. I love thinking about nifty sewing projects, but rarely try one out. I love making bows and now sewing child and baby creations. I hope to share these with you in the very near future, but you will have to bare with my not so eloquent writing style. If you can get through short, choppy, unorganized sentences and poorly used punctuation, I think we will get along peachy.

Super Cute!

A friend requested a set of loopy flower bows for a 2 year old birthday girl. She wanted primary and pastels. I think the outcome was super adorable! I am about to thumb through Kylie's outfits to see if I can match up a set of these for her!

Happy Birthday, Kylie!

I cannot (or possibly refuse to...) believe Kylie has already turned two. I don't even know how we have managed to have one birthday, let alone two. Yet here we are. Well, we were, anyway... Princess Kylie turned the big T-W-O on July 2nd. I was surprised that she understood what a birthday was, but I think a factor in that was Colton's birthday back in May. She remembered the cake, and the singing, and the presents!

Kylie with her Tink birthday cake.
Kylie showing us how birthday cake is acutally supposed to be eaten...
Pinkie Pie had a nibble herself and needed to be properly cleaned.

This year, we just headed over to my parent's house for a barbecue and then birthday festivities. As always, the kids love hanging at Nana and Papa's house.

Flower Clippies

Daisy Flower Clippie --- $5 ea. or $8 a set

These Daisy Clippies look super cute on pigtails
or even clipped onto clog (aka Croc, etc.) shoes.

Daisies in action!

Not quite sure what Kylie was upset about.
Perhaps that her pigtails were a bit lopsided?

Birthday Gift

I have a serious love for girls having birthday parties right now. They have given me the excuse to make more bow and pillowcase dress sets! Now I need to coerce my friends into taking pictures of their little cuites for me. Maybe I should bribe... That would probably be a little more friendly, eh. Chocolate, maybe?

Colton's girl friend (Not girlfriend. He would have some 'splainin to do at age 4...) who is just one week younger than him, had her birthday party on Sunday. In all my girlie-craft excitement I mixed up the date, and we arrived one day early... Unfortunately, we missed out on the Sunday festivites because of already made plans. But we were still able to deliver her gift and spend a few minutes playing before the birthday girl had to leave for Grandmas.

Happy 4th Birthday, M!

Nifty Gift

Lastweek was a neighbor's very special birthday. Her first! Unfortunately, Colton came down with an icky virus, so we ended up missing out on the festivities. Here is what we made:

Specialty gift wrap ala Colt and Kylie
In the top right corner Colton wrote Happy Birthday.
(With some tracing help, of course.)

I made a pillowcase dress with simple white fabric and shocking pink swiss dot ribbon.

A is for Adorable Aspen!

A baby bow to match, of course!
